The Naval Sea Cadet Corp (NSCC) is a program for young men and women ages 10 - 18 that are interested in developing their skills in leadership, basic seamanship, courage, self-reliance, military discipline and are committed to being disciplined, respectful, drug free, and gang free. Cadets are instructed by naval personnel, (active, reserve, and retired), by senior Cadets, and by dedicated adult volunteer leaders. The cadet experience includes basic military training and advanced training. Training classes cover a wide range of interests such as: Airman Training, Firefighting, JAG, Photography, Marksmanship, Amphibious Operations and many others. Sea Cadet training is held throughout the continental United States, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and Guam on military installations as well as foreign countries.

 

The Firelands Division, founded in 2006, has participated in the serving the Northern Ohio area for many dedicated years by performing community service, participating in local parades, and performing color guards at local events. Perspective cadets and their parents are welcome to observe an entire day of a typical drill.
